A Traditional Overnight Summer Camp for Boys and Girls.
Camp Woodmont is a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls ages 6-14. The camp is located on 170 acres on beautiful Lookout Mountain in northwest Georgia (approximately 30 minutes South of Chattanooga, Tennessee).
The summer camp experience provides cabin living, cool evenings around the campfire, creative counselors, new friends, talent/skit nights, and a close family-like atmosphere. Staff to camper ratio averages 1:5. Accreditation by the American Camp Association (ACA) and two generations of family management/ownership (70+ years combined experience) gives campers and parents a highly supervised program.
Camp Woodmont’s program features traditional summer-camp activities with an emphasis on nature, outdoor adventure, horseback riding, noncompetitive sports, arts & crafts and more. The nondenominational Christian atmosphere is appropriate for children from all faiths.
The director, Alyson Bennett Gondek, is involved in hands-on leadership and supervision of all aspects of the camp. She lives out the legacy of her parents & camp founders, Jane and Jim Bennett, by providing campers with a safe and welcoming place to learn, grow and develop relationships. Let Camp Woodmont be your child’s “home away from home.”
